Former Spokane County deputy prosecutor Marriya Wright, a former Spokane County Deputy prosecutor, pled guilty to second-degree rendering criminal assistance today.  The Spokesman-Review.  Ms. Wright provided assistance to a felon.  Watching her present herself to the court causes one to think she is an overly well-meaning innocent  who cares too much for the downtrodden.  See KXLY, Spokane.  She made a bad choice in trying to help a convicted felon Matthew Baumrucker, and in befriending him. Law360 has a new story about the firing of Joseph Dunn, the recently fired California Bar Director.  The bar says he was fired due to an internal investigation in which it was reported that the director kept certain matters from the bar board — did not tell them all he knew about moving the bar offices from San Francisco to Sacramento, took a trip to Mongolia which the bar paid for and more.  The accusations were immediately denied.
